Toasted Bred with Capers Patè
Carefully toast 20 slices of white bread or whole for Toast (readily available). Once golden brown and crispy slices cut into shapes that you want (like triangles and squares). Rub slightly canapé so created with a clove of garlic and spread at will the Patè of Sicilian Capers (190 gr.). Arrange in one or more trays and serve as a colorful and tasty appetizer!
Sicilian Caponata with Fish Pieces
Roast 200 gr. Fish in Trance (tuna or swordfish). Once well cooked and salted, cut into rectangular pieces and let cool. When ready to order the Sicilian Eggplant Caponata (270 gr.) deep in a container and add the cubes of fish, mix gently and serve adding a few basil leaves. An elegant and tasty appetizer!
Cocktail of Shrimp with Patè of Artichoke
Boil 400 grams. of peeled shrimp in lightly salted water. Once ready leave to cool and prepare a tray of curly endive salad and a drizzle of oil to the base. Arrange according to your taste the shrimp in the pan and add the Artichoke Patè (190 gr.). Serve handled or even coated the top Shrimp Cocktail will create an original and fresh ideal for Antipas accompanied by white wine!
Pennette with Pesto of Pistachios from Bronte
Recipe for 6 persons: 600 gr. of penne, 190 gr. Pesto of Pistachio from Bronte, onion, bacon or ham to taste, cream or milk, 30 gr. of chopped pistachios. Sauté onion, add the ham or bacon, diced in the quantity you prefer, pour the cream (or milk) and pesto and, when ready fried pennette already drained. A liking arrichhite all with a sprinkling of chopped pistachios. A fantastic first for special occasions to be accompanied by a good Syrah Sicilia!
Crostate (Tart ) of Lemons or Mandarins Marmalade
Base Ingredients: 300 g flour 00, 100 g sugar 150 g margarine, grated rind of one lemon, 1 egg and 1 yolk. After you have mixed everything and have formed a hard and dense dough, wrap the pastry in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 1 hour. Spread the batter into the baking pan, add the Lemon or Mandarins Sicilian Marmalades and after gains in the oven until golden brown. A tasty tart perfect for colazone or snack!
